Family Travel Suite.com is a division of Republic Media International, a boutique public relations, marketing and consulting agency specializing in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry with a primary focus on family travel.
Family Travel Suite.com is the face of the family traveler, which we define as parents traveling for business and/or pleasure with children under the age of 18. Our goal is to eagerly seek out and expose the news that affects when, where and how families travel. While there are several blogs, in this industry, posting tricks and tips on how to pack or promoting “today’s special” at the latest resort, Family Travel Suite sticks to the facts — the news.
About Malena
The Family Travel Suite blog is the creation of Malena Jackson, the founder and president of Republic Media International. As the mother of three, and one who loves to travel with her children, Malena quickly realized the challenges many parents face when trying to hop from one end of the country or town to another. Many hotels and travel destinations have not taken the time to get it right by offering exceptional service with a smile. It was then that Malena began her mission to help the travel and tourism industry create and learn techniques to cater to the family traveler. Surely, Disney isn’t the only brand to master the art of family travel.
Malena is a graduate of the prestigious Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York, New York and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Theater from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee.
She resides in Southern California with her husband and three children. When she’s not traveling for both business and pleasure with her children in tow, she enjoys reading, especially travel magazines, writing and fellowship with her church small group.
